SEL is currently developing long term supply contracts with parties that are planning to construct one or more ethanol plants. These parties have expressed a willingness to use SEL’s Synfuel as an alternative to coal or natural gas. Based on current studies, one complete annual fuel production of a standard 200k tons/year SynFuel Plant will be a sufficient energy source for a 100million gallons/year ethanol plant.
More additional markets are developing in co-generation of electric power as a bundle component to steam production for the ethanol manufacturing. With a ratio of approximately 1:2, electric power production to steam production, this model is a very lucrative business opportunity.
SEL invested the capital required for the initial stages of the innovation process, and is furthering the developed process to build working prototype and technology on a large scale.
